Potosi School Leaders Uncover Struggling Financial Issues with the District

(Potosi) Former retired Potosi Superintendent Randy Davis took over as interim superintendent at the start of this school year after Dr. Shawn McCue was unexpectedly replaced.

Davis and others took a look at budget numbers as he came back and found problems.

Davis says this year’s budget may look a little better at the end of the fiscal year than it looks right now.

However, Davis says they will eventually turn the situation around.

When Davis became the Potosi superintendent during his first run several years ago, he found similar issues and corrected those problems within a short amount of time.
