Potosi Softball Looking To Capture State Championship Berth

The Potosi softball team is heading back to the State Semifinals. The Trojans (25-3) are slated to take on Diamond (20-2) in the final four this Friday on J98. Potosi head coach Tyler Beers had his team in this same position just two years ago but the Trojans ended up finishing in third place and the skipper hasn’t forgotten about it…

Potosi is lead by junior pitcher Sami Huck while Diamond has a star junior pitcher of their own in Madi Bentley. Bentley earned All-state second-team honors as a freshman and Wildcats head coach Kelsey Parrish whoever is able to scrap across a few runs will have the advantage…

The game will be played this Friday at the Killian Softball Complex in Springfield with the Fliegs Equipment Pregame Show kicking off at 3:45 on J98. The winner will compete for a State Championship this Saturday at 1:00.
