(Potosi, Mo.) One of the top tacklers in the history of the Potosi football program, Triston Murdick has signed with Simpson College to continue his playing career next year.
He says he chose to play for the Storm to stay close to family and further his engineering aspirations.
A linebacker and running back for Potosi, Murdick was a staple of Trojans football as a starter over the past three seasons and could be found making plays all over the field.
He says he always enjoyed encouraging and helping out his younger teammates at Potosi.
Former Potosi football head coach Ed Haar says Simpson will be getting a hard worker and a surefire tackler in Murdick.
Simpson College is located in Indianola, Iowa and the football team went 5-5 this past season.
