Ralph Boyer — Service 1/21/20 10 A.M.

Ralph Boyer of Crystal City passed away on Tuesday at the age of 86. He began a longtime coaching career in 1959 with the founding of St. Pius the 10th High School in Festus and continued working at St. Pius as a teacher, coach, and Athletic Director until his retirement in 1998. He was a member of Our Lady Church in Festus, the Missouri Athletic Association, and Knights of Columbus #1230 in Festus.

He is survived by his wife Mary Ann, daughters; Mary Lajoie of Kansas, Terri Boyer-Trimble of Pennsylvania, and Liz Rothweiler of Crystal City, sons; Bob of Festus and John of Virginia, twelve grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The funeral mass for Ralph Boyer will be Tuesday morning at 10 at Our Lady Church in Festus, with interment in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crystal City.

Visitation will be Monday evening from 4 until 8 at the Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
