Rehder Wins Senate Race

(Scott City) It looks like Holly Rehder won a close race Tuesday over Kathy Swan to win the republican primary election for the state senate in district 27.
That district includes Bollinger, Cape Girardeau, Madison, Mississippi, Perry and Scott Counties.
It’s currently represented by Wayne Wallingford, who couldn’t run for another term because of term limitations.
Rehder is from Scott City.
The final margin of victory was less than 150 votes. That’s less than one percent of the vote.
