Representative McGirl Says His Hillsboro Road District Bill Still Has Chance to Pass

(Hillsboro) Because of the Missouri State Senate being caught in a republican power struggle this year and this session ending in about a month from now, lawmakers in the House of Representatives are losing hope of their bills passing into law this year.

State Representative Mike McGirl of Potosi says it’s looking that way.

However, McGirl’s special Hillsboro road district bill is not dead yet.

The 2022 regular Missouri legislative session will end at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 13th at the state capitol in Jefferson City.
