Reynolds County Museum Looking For Donations

(Ellington) The Reynolds County Museum in Ellington is worth a visit or two. The museum has exhibits of several different categories, including local military exhibits. Randle Tolliver is the quartermaster for Reynolds County V.F.W. Post 6660 in Centerville.

Tolliver says they are now looking for artifacts to be donated to the museum that represents some of the recent wars the United States has been involved in.

The display case is specifically being built just like the other war display cases in the museum. Tolliver hopes the new case will be ready to put Desert Storm artifacts in by December. If you have a Desert Storm artifact that you would like to donate to the museum, call 573-924-2382. The Reynolds County Museum, at 233 South Second Street in Ellington, is open from 10 until 4 Tuesdays through Fridays from March through October. For more information, go to rcghs.org.
