Road Leading to River Port in Ste. Genevieve County still needs Repaired

The New Bourbon Port road in Ste. Genevieve County is still not repaired from this spring’s flooding.
Garry Nelson is the presiding commissioner of the county.
He says this repair project has been slowed because of the entity helping the county.
The New Bourbon Port is located on the Mississippi River near Ste. Genevieve.
The port is used by businesses in Ste. Genevieve, Perry and surrounding counties.
It provides barge access to Chicago, Memphis, gulf ports and ocean shipping services.
It also provides railroad shipping and same day truck service to St. Louis, Kansas City and Memphis and next day truck service to Chicago, Atlanta and Dallas.
