Road Work Continues Along I-55 Southbound between Route A and Highway 67 South

(Festus) Road work to add a new third lane from I-55 southbound between Route A and the interchange to Highway 67 south in Festus continues to move forward as planned.

MoDOT Area Engineer Stephen O’Connor has a project update.

According to O’Connor, around the first week of October MoDOT will be shutting down the ramp from southbound I-55 to Highway 67 south for around two weeks so road crews can finalize the project.

The road construction project is expected to be wrapped up before the end of fall.
