An amazing accomplishment for the North County girls tennis team. They finished as state champion and runner-up in Class 1 doubles in Springfield. Sisters Lauren Politte and Hanna Politte beat their teammates Lucy Pace and Kate Jones 6-3, 7-6 in the championship match.

Farmington hosts 29-5 and 8th ranked Washington in the Class 4 quarterfinal Thursday. The Bluejays knocked off top ranked Rockwood Summitt in their district championship game.
