(DeSoto) DeSoto has found not only its new football coach, but also its new athletic director in Russ Schmidt. They didn’t even have to leave Jefferson County. Schmidt has coached and taught at Festus and Hillsboro for nearly 40 combined years. We asked coach Schmidt about the challenge of doing both jobs…
