School Choice Bill Passes Both Chambers of Missouri Legislature

(Jefferson City) The Missouri legislature has passed a controversial education bill through both chambers. Representative Mike McGirl of Potosi says the bill will raise teacher salaries in the state.
Part of the controversy relates to school choice. McGirl says access to private education or charter schools could increase if the bill passes.
This year’s Missouri legislative session ends on Friday, May 17th.
