Scouting Sign Up's Begin

(Farmington) The month of September is a busy time for the Boy Scouts of America, as they have kicked off their recruiting season. Maddie Lasewicz is a district executive with the scouts. She says they have a lot to offer youngsters wanting to join.

But there’s more than just outdoor activities when it comes to scouting.

Lasewicz says they’ll have a sign up night Tuesday at the Bloomsdale Knights of Columbus Hall starting at 6:30. On Thursday, there will be sign up at the Methodist Church in Farmington and the Esther Methodist Church in Park Hills. On September 18th there will be sign up at the Farmington Civic Center and on September 24th, there will be a sign up at the Potosi library. The Boy Scouts organization is opening to children in kindergarten through fifth grade. More information is available at beascout.org.
