(FESTUS) Jefferson boys basketball is welcoming aboard the new captain of the program with the hiring of Crystal City’s Sean Breeze as its new head coach.

Breeze, who coached the Hornets for 11 years, sizes up the Jefferson community and its athletes.

With the Hornets, Breeze had a chance to coach some extremely talented players such as Bryan DeGeare and most recently his brother Brady. Now he gets the chance to coach Dream Team athlete Easton Null.

All in all, coach Breeze is truly looking forward to this new opportunity to coach Blue Jays boys basketball.

Breeze coached the Hornets to three district championships with a 25-5 record in 2012 that finished with a trip to the Class 3 quarterfinals.
