SEMO Basketball Dancing Tonight

(Dayton) Southeast Missouri State and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, two 16-seeds, will start up March Madness Tuesday evening at 5:40 in Dayton, Ohio.

It’s the first game of the First 4 round of the NCAA Tournament.

The Redhawks earned an automatic bid to the tournament by winning the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament Championship.

SEMO coach Brad Korn is pleased to lead his group of players into the Big Dance.

Coach Korn describes what it means for his Redhawks to reach the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2000.

SEMO is 19-and-16 the Islanders are 23-10.

The winner has the pleasure of playing 1-seed Alabama on Thursday in Birmingham.

This is just the second time the Southeast Missouri State basketball team has made the NCAA National Tournament.
