Serious Injuries for Poplar Bluff Woman after Crashing S.U.V. in Dent County

(Salem) A woman from Poplar Bluff received serious injuries following a one vehicle crash this morning in Dent County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident took place on Highway 32, about eight miles east of Salem when 35-year-old Arika Ballenger lost control of her Dodge Nitro on a curve.

The S.U.V. then ran off the road and struck two signs and a tree.

Ballenger was taken to Salem Memorial Hospital to be treated for her serious injuries.
