Several weekend traffic accidents, including a double fatality

The Missouri State Highway Patrol and other emergency responders were busy with traffic accidents over the weekend.

71-year-old Vicki Hessler of Arnold suffered moderate injuries in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 30 at New Sugar Creek Road on Friday afternoon.

Three people were involved in a one-vehicle accident on Route FF north of Huff Road in Franklin County early Saturday morning. Two people, 24-year-old driver Chase Clark of Cedar Hill, and 28-year-old Austin Clark of Union were killed in the accident, while a passenger, 20-year-old Morgan Herrington of Lonedell suffered moderate injuries as a Ford Mustang ran off the roadway and overturned. All three people were not wearing seatbelts.

21-year-old Dillon Dixon of Festus was seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 67 at Victoria Road Saturday night. Dixon was driving a Kawasaki motorcycle south on 67 and he struck a Dodge Dart which drove out in front of him from Victoria Road.

61-year-old Frank Davis of Festus suffered moderate injuries on Route P at Hillsboro Hematite Road when he lost control of his Harley Davidson motorcycle and overturned it on Sunday morning.
