Severe Weather Moves Through Area

(St. Louis) Severe weather moved through the listening area on Thursday. Alex Elmore is a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in St. Louis. He says the bad weather came about in several phases.

We asked Elmore what parts of the area got the worst of the storms.

Most of the area was under a tornado watch Thursday afternoon, with portions of the area under tornado warnings. Elmore says teams are going on over the next couple of days to see if any tornadoes actually touched down. Hear more with Elmore about the weather below.
