Shane “Leroy Hawk” Bird — Memorial Gathering 8/1/20 3 P.M.

Shane “Leroy Hawk” Bird of Barnhart, passed away Saturday at the age of 41. He worked for the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) in Chesterfield, Missouri for 13years and 3 months; starting October 16, 2007, as a Motorist Assistance Operator, he worked his way up through numerous promotions to become a Safety Intermediate Specialist.
He is survived by his parents; Irene and Jerry Bird of Florid, sisters: Christine Bird of Festus, Carol Parsons of Illinois; girlfriend Julie Lamb of Illinois; niece Kathryn Parsons; nephews: Joseph Parsons and Matthew Parsons; and also many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A Memorial gathering for Leroy Hawk Bird will be Saturday afternoon from 3 until 5 at the Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
