Sheriff Marshak named to state POST Commission

(Hillsboro) Jefferson County Sheriff Dave Marshak was recently appointed to the Missouri Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission by Governor Mike Parson. Sheriff Marshak says he just met with the group this week in Jefferson City.
Sheriff Marshak says the group will certainly meet frequently to see what changes might be made in terms of training law enforcement personnel.
Sheriff Marshak has an extensive background in training both law enforcement officers from several agencies and civilians in his career prior to becoming Sheriff in 2016.
