Six Local State Champs to Compete for National Title in Skills U.S.A. Competition

(Bonne Terre) Unitec Career Center in Bonne Terre will be sending six students to Georgia for next week’s Skills U.S.A. National Competition.

Jason Loughary is the Skills U.S.A. advisor at Unitec.

He says these students are all state champions who will be representing the State of Missouri.

Loughary believes all six students have a real good shot at winning national titles.

And Loughary says Skills U.S.A. has many other interesting categories you will be able to see in Atlanta next week.

The Skills U.S.A. National Competition will get underway Monday, June 19th.

The events will wrap up on Thursday the 22nd with awards handed out on Friday the 23rd.
