(DESOTO) Nate Reiser is returning for his 8th season as head coach of DeSoto boy’s soccer without his son and all-time assist leader, Nick Reiser, for the first time in four years.

Coach Reiser believes that Dragons fans need not worry because sophomore Chase Reichmuth is still there.

Reichmuth finished his freshman season with 18 goals and 18 assists.

Then there’s another sophomore in Bradley Hunt.

With last year’s striker and leading goal-scorer Nick Reiser of course graduating, Coach Reiser is having to shuffle things around positionally.

As for the starting goalkeeper spot, Coach Reiser announces that Zach Keck has the job.

DeSoto kicks off the 2019 season on Monday, September 2nd at home against Christian Brothers Academy. A couple of key matches this year for the Dragons includes Hillsboro at home on September 17th and Class 3 District 2 champion Windsor at home on October 9th.
