(PARK HILLS) The 11th seed South Iron Panthers ended Day 2 of the 62nd Annual Bob Sechrest Jr. Central Christmas Tournament with a 66-54 victory over the 6th seeded Perryville Pirates on J98.
After trailing 23-20 at the half, the Pirates went on an 11-0 run to take the lead early in the third. However, the Panthers responded with an 18-4 run of their own with some help from Brock Wakefield.

The Panthers earn a date with the Farmington Knights tomorrow at 8:30 on J98. With the loss, Perryville slides over to the Consolation Bracket and will take on 14th seeded Fredericktown tomorrow at 11:30 a.m.
