St. Francois County’s public administrator will run for re-election in 2020.
Gary Matheny has announced his candidacy.
He explains what he does in a job that he has a passion for.
Matheny says the advantage he provides is the way he can save the county money.
Matheny estimates he saves the county $50,000 per year in legal fees and extra salary.
The election for St. Francois County public administrator will be in August.
