St. Francois County Voters Say Yes to 911 Tax

(Park Hills) St. Francois County voters said yes on Tuesday to a proposal to make permanent a tax to help fund the St. Francois County 9-1-1 Center in Park Hills. Director Alan Wells was ecstatic with the result.

The tax was first approved in 2014. 84 percent of those who cast a ballot on Tuesday said yes to the proposal. The tax is expected to bring in close to 2.5 million dollars annually. Hear more with Wells below.
