St. Joachim Celebrates 200 Years Sunday in Old Mines

(Old Mines) It’s a festival 200 years in the making as the St. Joachim Catholic Church in Old Mines will hold its fall festival and celebrate the 200th anniversary of the parish this Sunday. Tracy and Chris Farrell are the co-chairs of the festival. Tracy says they’ll show off their pride in the church and the community…

A roast beef and chicken dinner runs from 11 to 5pm with other activities…

Chris says they’ll also have a 9/11 ceremony…

The Farrells say they’ve been celebrating the 200th anniversary of St. Joachim throughout the year and Old Mines will celebrate 300 years throughout the coming year…

Musical acts at the fall festival in Old Mines include Matt Pratt from noon to 2:00 on Sunday and TNT from 2 to 5pm.
