(FESTUS) Friday’s KJFF high school football game of the week will be the (7-3) St. Pius Lancers at Jefferson R-7 to take on the (7-2) Blue Jays. The Lancers have won three in a row, they downed Bayless, Perryville and Priory while the Jays have lost their last two contests against Ste. Genevieve and
St. Vincent.
Blue Jays head coach Matt Atley says Jefferson had two good weeks of practice.
According to Atley, he has several concerns about the Lancers.
Lancers head coach Frank Ray believes his team has had a good week of practice.
Ray says protecting the ball and minimizing mistakes is a high priority.
