St. Pius Big Man Riley Naeger a “Slam Dunk” for the Regional Radio Dream Team
(Festus, Mo.) A dominant force for the St. Pius Lancers’ boys basketball team, senior Riley Naeger has landed himself a spot on the 2019-2020 Regional Radio Winter Sports Dream Team.
Naeger says he appreciates the recognition.
Standing at 6’7″, it is no secret that Naeger’s game is centered around post play.
He says he likes to utilize his height in multiple ways on the court.
Having just finished his senior season with St. Pius, Naeger is now set to continue his basketball career at Drury University next season.
He says he’s excited about the opportunity to join a terrific Panthers program.
Naeger finished the 2019-2020 season with St. Pius averaging 17 points per game, 8.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.4 steals.
He was named JCAA Small School Division MVP, JCAA Small School All-Conference, and Class 3 All-District.
