St. Pius Volleyball's Kennedy Lane Makes Dream Team to Cap Off Impressive Sophomore Season

(FESTUS) The kills leader for the St. Pius volleyball Lancers this year is a member of the Dream Team as sophomore Kennedy Lane was picked by area coaches for the honor.

Lane and company finished as Class 2 runners-up this season behind Lane’s 333 kills that also put her 7th on the list for kills in the St. Louis metro area.

Going into the year, Lane didn’t expect to get to state but was certainly happy to be a part of the run.

As for making Dream Team, Lane is very appreciative of the coaches who voted for her.

Kennedy Lane adds that she is looking forward to her junior year at St. Pius as her younger sister will be a freshman. Lane also hopes to continue developing great team chemistry. This season was filled with additional achievements such as making 1st-Team All-District, All-Conference, and All-State.
