St. Pius Lancers Join The Cole’s Tractor And Equipment Football Roundtable

(St. Francois County) The St. Pius Lancers were our guest on the Cole’s Tractor and Equipment Football Roundtable Tuesday night at Applebee’s in Farmington. The Lancers are off to a 4-1 start after dropping the season-opening game to Monroe City, 42-14. Head coach Dan Oliver is taking the season day-by-day.

Defense has been strong for St. Pius as they’ve allowed just 40 points over their last four games, two less points than they gave up to the 5-0 Panthers in week one. Oliver wouldn’t mind another crack at Monroe City down the road.

Senior Nate Ruble would love to finish the season with a deep run in the playoffs.

St. Pius has a home matchup with 1-4 Doniphan this Friday.
