(IMPERIAL) The St. Pius baseball team remains undefeated after pulling off a 5-1 road victory over the Windsor Owls Tuesday night on AM 1400 KJFF. The Lancers quickly jumped ahead in the top of the 2nd.

 
The Lancers extended their lead in the 2nd to 2-0 on a passed ball and throwing error by the catcher. Windsor answered in the bottom of the 2nd with 3rd baseman Matt Martin pulling through.

 
The defense really shined for St. Pius with highlight plays in the 3rd and 5th innings.

 
After the out call in the bottom of the 5th, the St. Pius offense went back to work.

The Applebee’s of Farmington Player of the Game was Kaleb Schweigert, who tossed 4 innings in relief, striking out 3, and earning his 3rd win of the season. St. Pius remains undefeated at 14-0 and Windsor drops to 13-5.

The Owls will try to bounce back on Friday at Fox. The Lancers will put their perfect record on the line again next Tuesday at home against Jefferson, a game you can hear on AM 1400 KJFF.
