St. Pius Volleyball Continues Quest For State Title on Thursday

(FESTUS) The St. Pius Lady Lancers this week are preparing for their Class Four semifinal match against Jefferson City Lady Jays on Thursday at Southeast Missouri State University. The Lady Lancers swept Parkway West in three sets on Saturday to make the Final Four. St. Pius is now (23-5) and Jefferson City is (24-9).
St. Pius head coach Shannon Leftridge says winning the quarterfinal match on Saturday was an emotional win for the team.

According to Leftridge, she and the team will be reviewing the basics.

Thursday’s semifinal at the Show Me Center will be at 12pm. The other semifinal features St. Michael the Archangel (27-5) against (29-10-1) Incarnate Word. The third place match will be at 6pm Thursday while the championship is slated for Friday at 12pm.
