St. Pius Volleyball Eager for 2023
(FESTUS)   St. Pius Lady Lancers volleyball head coach Shannon Leftridge says her players had a good summer and she believes holding a team camp in June is giving them a jump on pre-season preparation.

According to Leftridge, the Lady Lancers will have four girls from last year’s squad, ready for their senior season.

The four seniors are Emma Frazier, Karlie Lane, Sophia Michaud and Sydney Otec.  St. Pius finished 23-4 last year before they lost in the state quarterfinals to Westminster Christian Academy.
St. Pius will open their season August 25th and 26th at the MICDS “Brace for Impact” Tournament at Legacy Volleyball Training Courts in Fenton.  The Tournament features brackets for junior varsity teams and another for varsity squads.  St. Pius won the varsity tournament last year.
