(CRYSTAL CITY, Mo.) The Rolla “Duke” Herbert Championship is set as the number one seeded Saxony Lutheran Crusaders and number two seeded St. Vincent Indians clinched their birth in the title game for the second consecutive season.

Saxony Lutheran would continue to cruise en route to the 94-35 victory. Guard Paiton Miller scored 19 points and forward Austin Jarvis added 19 of his own to lead Saxony Lutheran in scoring. Clifton finished with a game high 23 points in the contest while guard Trevor Lukefahr scored 19 points to lead the Indians attack. The Indians finished with five players in double figures. Despite leading for around 20 points for most of the game, the Eagles soared back in the fourth quarter bringing the game to within nine at one point after trailing by 22 at the start of the quarter. However, key free throws from Lukefahr down the stretch helped seal the game for St. Vincent.

Friday night the Rolla “Duke” Herbert Tournament will conclude at Crystal City High School. Consolation semifinals will be played Thursday night with Crystal City matching up against St. Paul High School, and Jefferson playing the St. Louis Patriots.

The third place game will feature Grandview and Herculaneum, while the championship will see Saxony Lutheran go for the three-peat against St. Vincent. Third place game coverage will begin Friday night at 6:45 p.m., with tip-off set for 7 p.m on KJFF.
