State Rep. Ken Waller on tax cut plan and budget

(Jefferson City) A busy week will be coming for members of the State Legislature. State Representative Ken Waller of Herculaneum says the house has proposed a big tax cut plan and is sponsored by State Representative Dirk Deaton of Noel, Missouri. He says the state currently has a surplus of funds.

Waller says this week will include lots of time dedicated to the budget.

By Missouri law, the budget must be balanced and be ready for Governor Mike Parson to sign before the end of the legislative session in May.
