Ste. Gen Man Airlifted To Hospital After Colliding With Freightliner

(Ste. Genevieve County) A Ste. Gen man received serious injuries from a car crash in Ste. Genevieve County Monday afternoon. 38-year-old Matthew Zerwig was southbound on US-61 at Pfaff Road in a 2007 Ford Taurus when he struck the rear of a freightliner traveling in front of him. Zerwig was airlifted to Mercy Hospital St. Louis to treat his injuries. The driver of the freightliner was not injured.
