Ste. Genevieve County bridge into IL will get replaced

A bridge many Ste. Genevieve County citizens use may be getting replaced soon.
The SEMO Transportation Advisory Council is looking at replacing the Chester Bridge into Illinois at some point in the next few years.
Ste. Genevieve mayor Paul Hassler says it’s a long time coming for a bridge many citizens use to cross the Missouri River.
The Chester Bridge would be replaced at some point in the next 6-8 years.
