Ste. Genevieve Police Officer Has Surgery

(Ste. Genevieve) A Ste. Genevieve Police officer is recovering following surgery for several hours Monday.
The officer was injured in a Molotov cocktail attack that left him with second and third-degree burns.
36-year-old Pete Unverferth was flown to a St. Louis area hospital last week after a suspect lit a Molotov cocktail and threw it at Unverferth.
34-year old Tyson Heise has been arrested and charged with knowingly injuring a police officer.
