Steelville Art Council Plein Air Event Underway This Week in Crawford County

(Steelville) Several artists from across the country are painting, in the elements this week, the landscape of Crawford County as the Steelville Art Council’s 8th Annual Plein Air Art Event is underway.

Miles Yeary with the art council says because of the pandemic, the event will not have the grand finale event on the last day.

We asked Yeary where their artists come from.

You can purchase the art and view it, starting Wednesday and going through Saturday at the Steelville Community Center from 10 until 4 each day.

And because of the pandemic, starting Saturday, you can also bid on the art through an online auction at steelvilleartscouncil.org.
