Sullivan Man Killed after Crashing Vehicle in St. Francois County

(Blackwell) A man from Sullivan was killed after crashing his vehicle in St. Francois County early this morning.

The accident happened on Route ‘C-C’, just east of Cole Road near Blackwell.

The Highway Patrol says a G.M.C. Yukon driven by 29-year-old Jacob Niedbalski ran off the road, struck a rock embankment and overturned.

Niedbalski was pronounced dead at the scene by St. Francois County E.M.S. personnel.
