Summer Fun Officially Gets Underway at Lake Wappapello This Holiday Weekend

(Wappapello) The summer season officially gets underway at Wappapello Lake in Wayne County this Memorial Day weekend.

Andrew Jefferson with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at the lake says lake levels are looking good right now.

Jefferson says live music will be the featured entertainment at Lake Wappapello this weekend.

Many other fun events are scheduled for future weekends throughout the summer at Lake Wappapello this year.
