(HILLSBORO) The JCAA Boys Basketball Shootout at Jefferson College is Saturday on J98 with our coverage beginning with the 4th game of six on the slate, which features 4-3 North County and 4-0 St. Vincent.

Raiders head coach Jimmy Palmer relies on more than just Jonathan Starkey, Karter Kekec, and Clayton Crow to contribute to the scoring.

The St. Vincent Indians and head coach Bruce Valleroy are focused on handling North County’s aggressive defense.

Tip-off is set for 4:30. The 2nd game on J98 will be the 4-2 St. Pius Lancers against the 5-5 DeSoto Dragons. Lancers head coach Eric Lawrence will take the same approach he always does and trust in his team’s style of play to beat the Dragons.

DeSoto head coach Zeb Hammond says St. Pius poses many challenges and that this game will give the Dragons a better idea as to who they are moving forward.

St. Pius and DeSoto are set to tip-off at 6 p.m. The JCAA Shootout on J98 will wrap up with 5-3 Jefferson pitted against 4-2 Hillsboro. Hawks head coach Dan Johnson says Michael Brewer will be an X-factor.
