The Waites on Family Feud later this month

(Festus) An upcoming episode of Family Feud will feature a family from Festus. The Waites will compete in the long-time-running game show hosted by Steve Harvey later this month. Brian Waites says the process to be on the show began nearly two years ago.

Waites says from there, they got a call to take the next step in the process.

Waites says they traveled to Atlanta, Georgia to the TV taping this past February.

Waites says there was no guarantee they would be chosen to be on the program despite being there for the taping, but it did happen. Brian goes over his team of five.

Waites was not allowed to say how the family performed on the show, and whether they were able to move on to a second tapping of the show. He says Steve Harvey was very fun to work with and was just as charming as he is on the show. The air date for the Waites from Festus on Family Feud is Thursday, October 27th on ABC starting at 6:30 PM.
