Tony Becker’s final Crystal City city council meeting

(Crystal City) Monday night was the final Crystal City council meeting with Tony Becker serving as a Ward 2 councilman. Becker and his family moved to Webster Groves to help cut down on his wife’s work commute from St. Louis University Hospital. Becker says it’s going to be a big change not being a member of the council after 12 years.

Becker says the city did have a nice send-off for him.

Meanwhile, the city is taking applications to be considered to be a replacement for Becker until his term runs out in 2025. Those interested must live in Ward 2 and can obtain information at Crystal City city hall.
