Twin Brothers Jonah And Josh Allison Commit To Run At SIU-Carbondale

(Hillsboro) Twin brothers from Hillsboro High School will continue their athletic and academic careers at Division One Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. Jonah and Josh Allison made the announcement Wednesday evening to run cross country and track and field for the Salukis.

Jonah told Regional Radio how it felt to finally make the decision.

Jonah says him and his brother going to the same college was always in the cards.

Josh feels the same way.

The Hillsboro boys cross country team has 1st place finishes in all three events they’ve participated in this season. Individually, Josh has won each event while Jonah has 2nd and 4th place finishes at the First Capitol Meet and Fleet Feet Classic, respectively.

After coming in 8th last season at the Class 4 state championships, the Hawks have a state title on their mind.
