Twin City Days concert draws thousands

(Festus, Crystal City) The 25th Anniversary of Twin City Days wrapped up with the free GTO and Nitty Gritty Dirt Band concert on Saturday night at West City Park in Festus. Festus Police Chief Tim Lewis says the crowd was great and no major issues for law enforcement.

Chief Lewis says there were many visitors from outside of the Twin City area.

Chief Lewis says directing traffic following the end of the concert was rather flawless.

There were estimates of 9 to 10 thousand people or more who attended the GTO and Nitty Gritty Dirt Band concert on Saturday night.
