Two Cars Totaled In St. Francois County Crash

(St. Francois County) Two cars were totaled and three people were sent to the hospital after a crash in St. Francois County yesterday (Thursday) morning. According to highway patrol, 40-year-old Mistey Pierson of Farmington was eastbound on US 67 at Route ‘H’ in her 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser when she attempted to cross northbound US 67. Pierson failed to yield to 38-year-old Tommie Adams of Fredericktown, who was traveling north in her 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander, and was struck on the side by Adams’ vehicle. Pierson was transported to Parkland Health Center with moderate injuries. Adams and her 9-year-old occupant were transported to Parkland Health Center with minor injuries.
