Two DeSoto Residents Injured In A Two-Vehicle Crash

Two DeSoto residents were injured in a crash involving two pick-up trucks at Route E at Sunrise School Road on Wednesday night. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 29-year-old Joseph Grimes was driving a 2007 GMC Sierra and was turning onto Route E, and pulled into the path of a 2002 GMC Sierra driven by 63-year-old Stephon Seidl. Both vehicles traveled off the roadway and Seidls’ truck overturned. Grimes was taken by law enforcement to Mercy Jefferson with minor injuries, while Seidl was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South with serious injuries. The accident took place a little after 9 o’clock Wednesday night.
