Two Desoto Residents Killed In Sunday Accident

(Desoto) Two people from Desoto were killed Sunday afternoon in a traffic accident on Highway 21 at Liberty Ridge Road.

The highway patrol says a car driven by a 16 year old juvenile was trying to make a left turn onto Liberty Ridge Road and traveled into the path of a motorcycle being operated by Matthew Uzzetta of Desoto.

Both Uzzetta and his passenger, 24 year old Caitlyn Ronchetto of Desoto were killed in the accident, which happened at 3 o’clock Sunday afternoon in Jefferson County.
