Two Injured In Washington County Car Accident

Two women were injured, including one seriously, in a two-vehicle car accident Tuesday afternoon in Washington County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on Route C, west of Lovers Lane. A 2016 Chevrolet Sonic being driven by 26-year-old Bixby resident Rachel Lada attempted to make a left turn when it was struck by a 1992 GMC Sonoma carrying 39-year-old Farmington resident Juanita Duncan. Duncan was seriously injured while Lada was moderately injured. Duncan was taken to Mercy Hospital South and Lada was taken to Washington County Memorial. Both cars were totaled. The driver of the Sonoma, 30-year-old Farmington resident Brandon Hutson, was not injured.
